Robert Weller Biography
Weller's flawless techniques masterfully combine light and shadow to create beautiful realistic paintings. Oregon's favorite subjects and popular landscapes become serene and timeless. His sensitive renditions of familiar rural scenes impart a gentle philosophy that invites us to also enjoy the view.
After graduating from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles California with a Bachelor's Degree in Porfessional Arts, Weller's works began to be featured in numberous one-man shows throughout the country. His works are currently held in collections by Pacific University, Good Samaritan Hospital and Medical Center of Portland, Georgia Pacific Corporation, US National Bank of Oregon, US Bureau of Land Management, Oregon Pulmonary Associates of Portland , State of Oregon offices in Salem and Pendleton, the Oregon Court of Appeals, by Senator Mark Hatfield and numerous private firms.
Weller has painting professionally for over 30 years. It is now well known that he only creates a few select originals each year. Gary Lawrence considers Robert Weller "a painting genius, a real historical painter of the Northwest."
